Also, every Saturday afternoon the lovely Libertine Gallery folks hold a champagne social event, as classy as they wanna be, yo. Sometimes there is an artist waxing poetic about things, sometimes its just regular artfags, unwaxed and thirsty. 1-3pm downtown near Chipotle but over on Brazos. There’s a waxing one in a couple of weeks;

August 15th there’s a photography thing at ID&F about the part of Africa that my parents and sister live in that features maize (we call it corn) beer. 6:30 to 10pm on the fancy part of 2nd Street where they light up trees. Lit up trees make me much happier than they should.
